Today is Monday and it is a professional development day in the board where I am teaching. That means, no matter what, I will not be getting a call to work today. That means there is an entire day ahead of me to finish some necessary jobs around home i.e. home work!
- cleaning the house
- baking some bread
- putting the gardens to bed
- helping my husband pull a fallen tree out of the lake
- laundry, laundry, laundry
And, when all of this homework is complete, I will spend some time doing some professional development of my own:
- reading through materials and on the board's website
- studying this month's issue of Professionally Speaking
- revising my resume and cover letter for possible long term work
It is sunny and clear today. My disposition is sunny and my plan is clear. One day at a time, here I go!
